Stories, legends and myths
The Sea Saami have a rich tradition of storytelling. Knowledge was passed on through oral traditions and the practical tasks of daily life. There are stories to entertain, how to raise children and to help, scare or make you feel safe. Stories about people you know, about nature, about the underworld and mystery. Hills, rocks, places, trails can have stories attached to them.
