Author Idar Kristiansen also worked as a freelance journalist for several newspapers and magazines. He regularly contributed articles to Vi menn in the period 1971-1979. We have collected his articles here.
My time at Vi menn was instructive. I met a lot of people, got to know the country, sharpened my skills as a writer, and learnt about brevity and rigour in style and language.

A few years ago, Idar Kristiansen turned up at Vi Menn's editorial office with some crumpled manuscripts. A meeting that was the prelude to journalism that has sparkled for periods in the magazine. Idar Kristiansen as an interviewer, documentary writer and storyteller...who never settled down in Oslo, who could disappear for periods of time and reappear with an embrace full of new experiences that gave his articles breadth, insight and became good reading in Vi Menn.
