
All parts of the Sea Sami costume were used in North Troms until the end of the 19th century, when Norwegian and Western traditions took over. In the 1990s, the cardigan and accessories were reconstructed and brought back into use.
Duodji is traditional Sami handicrafts and crafts.
Natural materials such as wood, leather, horn, pewter, wool and cloth are used to make beautiful and practical products, both for personal use and for exchange and sale.
