Our aim is to preserve, develop and disseminate the cultures of the S\u00e1mi, indigenous and northern peoples - with particular emphasis on the Sea S\u00e1mi tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the centre houses a wide range of functions and services: a museum, Sami language centre, library, exhibition rooms, kitchen and office space. Among the Sami organisations located here are the Sami Parliament, Riddu Ri\u0111\u0111u Festiv\u00e1la, Giellasiida (Sami language centre) and the Sami library service. In addition, K\u00e5fjord municipality has its public library, cultural school and youth club in the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00c1G is part of the S\u00e1mi cultural centre structure and covers the North Troms region in particular.
