Steak cakes made from horse meat (Uløybukt)
1/2 kg horse meat
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp potato flour
A little pepper
Season with 2 dl of water
Onions
The meat is ground twice. The cakes are made round and placed on a wet surface. Brown them well. Cut a large onion into thin slices and brown in butter with 1 tablespoon of water. Bring to the boil and pour over the cakes.
Meatballs made from cow meat (Jøkelfjord)

Salt and pepper
Potato flour
Grind the meat three times and mix the rest. Shape into cakes and fry in the pan. Add potatoes and vegetables if desired.
